After 3:00 p.m., tours for tourist purposes will be taken over by staff in public services, subject to availability. If there are no staff available and to the extent possible, these tours will be rescheduled.
It is addressed to universities, faculties with a biblioeconomic profile, schools and other institutions, organizations and/or cultural-educational associations from the country and abroad (organized groups).

The “Carol I” Central University Library participates in the “Școala altfel” program by organizing documentary visits, guided tours, for students from classes: VI-XII, accompanied by teaching staff.
The “Carol I” Central University Library is part of the European event „Noaptea Muzeelor”.
* Certain categories of people benefit free of charge: UB students; foreign students enrolled in educational programs (Socrates, Erasmus, etc.); students doing internships in BCU “Carol I”; students and students with social grants; students included in the “Școala altfel” program; Olympic students; staff from the national library network; employees of the Ministry of Education; retired librarians and teachers; disabled people; people who perform voluntary work for BCU “Carol I”; participants in cultural events such as Night of the Museums or Strada de C’Arte.

The “Carol I” Central University Library is a complex organizational structure, consisting of the Headquarters, the Pedagogical Section “I.C. Petrescu ”and 16 branch libraries, located in the University of Bucharest. In the branch libraries, at the loan centers, only the students and teachers of the faculties of the University of Bucharest have access, and in their respective reading rooms, all categories of users have access. All categories of users have access to the Headquarters.
